Heads up! Here's why you should support my Shave for a Cure 🧡
Welcome to my fundraising page!
Two beautiful wahine have inspired me to sign up for Shave for a Cure this year.
The first is one of my best friends, Jenny H, who has been battling Hodgkin's Lymphoma for two years. She's currently in Auckland Hospital recovering from an allo stem cell transplant, which will hopefully be the cure we have been praying for.
The other is a lovely teen named Poppy G. Poppy is one of my Girls' Brigade girls and has been fighting a tough battle against Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Her journey has included some very scary moments, like allergic reactions to medication, along with many other challenges. Her treatment will continue for many more months.
I'm shaving my hair in solidarity with these amazing women and the many other New Zealanders facing cancer. I want to help fund research for more effective treatments and ensure people with cancer get the support they need.
Did you know that eight people in New Zealand are diagnosed with blood cancer every day? That's a heartbreaking statistic, but together, we can make a difference.
Please sponsor me for this important cause. It's simple, fast, and totally secure. Just fill out the details, whip out your credit card, and Leukaemia & Blood Cancer New Zealand will email you a receipt.
Thank you so much for your support!
