I was going to shave my head anyway, so why not fundraise while I'm at it?
Lots of people I really admire have shaved their heads, not Luxon but people like my dad.
My dad didn't have cancer, but my mum did. She's alright now, but at the time, it was scary, and she was a lot braver than I was.
My mum's bravery, and the bravery of all those living with cancer, has inspired me to do something a little less brave: shave for a cure.
Did you know that eight people will discover they have blood cancer today? That's a scary statistic.
