Who will you shave for?
Inaki
“I thought I’d do the shave for three years, to symbolise each year I had cancer.”
When Inaki took part in his first Shave in 2021, he was no stranger to losing all his hair. In fact, it was his own three-year journey with leukaemia that inspired him to get behind the cause.
Aaron
“It’s not about dwelling in the past or thinking ‘why me?’ It’s about – what can I do to get better?”
School teacher Aaron had to explain to his students why his blood cancer meant he wouldn’t be in class for a while. They turned around and helped him raise over $59,000 for Shave for a Cure.
